The Surf House Casa del Rincón is located on its cliffs above the beach. In a green native tree surrounding with ocean view it provides a unique calmness. In Casa del Rincón you can enjoy ocean-view from every room. We offer optional all-inclusive accomodations, surf-guiding on a daily basis including surf gear like warm wetsuits and surfboards for beginners.

The wave itself works all year round. In summer months it is a bit smaller and more mellow and in winter a bit stronger with sometimes huge swells coming in. Beginner to Intermediate works best from September to January and from April to May. Advances to experts can come all year around, except that February to midst March is not recommended due to Chilean holidays with its crowds. Winter can offer beginner and intermediate waves, but they are much less consistent. Whether you want to learn to surf or work on your surfs kills, we pick the best conditions for you.
One of its biggest advantages is, that according to tides or sections the wave can barrel or be calm and open. It is very common that we get longboard waves and barrels the same day, depending on the tides or the given section.

  • After being there only one week I wished to stay forever. There is not much tourism and the locals treat you in a very friendly and welcoming manner. I fell in love with the permanent view of the ocean. Everywhere you turn you are sourrounded by positive vibes and the scent of pines. Surfing is simply amazing at Surf Camp Chile!

OUR LOCATION

The 200-soul village is located 3 hours from Santiago de Chile. In order to reach the beach, we will drive you with a 4by4 car. In the village only a small grocery store and two restaurants are available. The soul of the village is a very consistent left-hand point-break and an endless beach where you can lose yourself. The local culture of this small and quiet town consists of people dedicated to the extraction of “Cochayuyo”, fishing, and immigration, mixed with surfing families that in its beginnings kept this place as a “Secret spot” due to its consistent wave; “the Point” a left wave surrounded by a pristine landscape.

Hi, I am Eliana. I am Swiss/Italian and speak German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. I've lived more than 15 years at this incredible place and got to know the wave and all kinds of secret spots around by heart. I'm gonna stay at the house with you, share my spot knowledge with you and surprise you with natural European/south american fusion cuisine.
Back in Switzerland I've worked as a professional Swiss snowboard instructor, before I learned to surf in surf camps all over the world. Amongst all surf spots this one kept my attention for its magic, but also for its lonely waves. From the first moment I surfed there, I knew that I found something unique. I lived here for a year working remote during the pandemic, before I reorganized my work to live at this wonderful place for ever.

Together with my friend and architect I now remodeled a house at this magical spot and I am thrilled to open it to you soon. We were both driven to show our national and international guests our wonderful surfspot. Not only did we want you to get to know the incredible beach but also offer western standard accommodation. We are very much looking forward to creating a unique surf experience for you!
